Aquatherm Industries, Inc., the largest U.S. manufacturer of s olar pool heating systems, hosted the 2014 iteration of its Annual National Master Dealer Kick-Off Meeting this past January in Orlando, Florida. The event, which takes place in the beginning of each New Year, is an opportunity for the manufacturer to address Master Dealers of its solar pool heaters before the busy spring season. In addition to bringing to its network the latest in product innovations, the event is a prime chance for owners and salesmen from across the country to interact and share ideas. Representatives from Pentair and QuickMount PV were also in attendance to field questions and to show off their latest product offerings.
The manufacturer began its Master Dealer Program in 1993, in an effort to distinguish those dealers which adhere to a higher level of sales achievement, installation quality, and customer satisfaction. In addition to Master Dealers from around the nation, Aquatherm welcomed representatives from international distributors in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Ecuador, and Mexico.
The three-day conference concluded with an awards banquet, during which top sales performances amongst Master Dealers were recognized.
Bill Long, of Stilwell Solar in Estero, Florida, was the Number One Solar Industries Salesperson. The success of Bill and his team at Stilwell Solar in a state whose economy is still in the processes of recovering proves what hard work, determination, and thirty years’ worth of happy customers speaking your praises can accomplish.
Brandon Chase, of SunChaser, Inc. in Lakeside, California, was the Number One Ecosun Salesperson. In his highly saturated solar market of San Diego, Brandon has done a tremendous job of separating himself from the pack of solar contractors. His customers love him, and refer him every chance they get.
Last, but certainly not least, Bill Park, of Central Florida Solar in Altamonte Springs, Florida, was named the Number One Ultrasun Salesperson for 2013. Though Bill is a veteran in the Aquatherm Network (having been the very first Ecosun Master Dealer in the country back in 1993), the Ultrasun Solar Pool Heater is the newest addition to the manufacturer’s line of premier flagship brands. Released in 2012 under a limited pre-production program, the Ultrasun Collector is in full production for 2014, and available nationwide.
For the 10th consecutive year, Mark Naylor of Mark Naylor Solar Specialists in San Diego, California was named Salesman of the Year. Mark attributes a large portion of his success to the strategic relationships he’s developed with local pool builders and pool service professionals over the years.
The “Rising Star Award” was presented to Nick Dalton of Wayne’s Solar (Ormond Beach, FL), and is traditionally given to a salesman who, though relatively new to the Network, has made an outstanding sales impact in the previous year. The “High Impact Award,” given in recognition of the largest percentage increase in sales from year-to-year, was presented to Al Accurso of AlCor Solar Enterprises (Concord, CA).
Awards for excellence in Customer Satisfaction were presented to Solar Services of Virginia Beach, Virginia for highest satisfaction rating amongst Solar Industries Master Dealers, and first-year Master Dealer, SolarWave, Inc. of Ontario, Canada, for the Ecosun product line.
