Lakewood, NJ— The largest manufacturer of solar pool heaters in the United States, Aquatherm Industries, Inc., announced today it has passed an annual ISO audit inspection conducted by QAS International and will maintain its ISO 9001:2008 registration. The ISO 9001:2008 standard pertains to the systems and methodologies used in an organization’s quality policies. Per the official ISO audit summary, no non-conformities were found in the manufacturer’s quality management system (QMS). The lead auditor found Aquatherm’s quality policy to be both “established and effectively communicated throughout the organization,” and also noted “continual improvement is evident.”
“Quality is our number one priority at Aquatherm,” says Dave Sizelove, Aquatherm President and CEO.
“I believe we exist solely to provide our customers with the tools they need to succeed in this industry, and that means providing a quality product with equal quality customer service. Maintaining our ISO registration requires us to continually refocus on improving quality control policies and systems.”
At the time of its initial ISO registration in 2011, Aquatherm was the only U.S. manufacturer of solar collectors—including both thermal and photovoltaic technologies—to achieve the standard; it currently remains the only U.S. manufacturer of solar thermal collectors and system components to be ISO registered.
